WHO IS HOWARD?
.jpeg)
I was born in Scotland and began my hospitality career after graduating from the Scottish Hotel School. I launched my professional journey in the U.S. with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. In 1997, I made Moab my home and opened the Red Rock Bakery, now a family-run business. I’ve dedicated myself to this community—volunteering, serving on county boards, and supporting local projects. Since 2021, I have also worked seasonally with the world’s top-rated luxury rail company, Rocky Mountaineer. My journey reflects resilience, hard work, and a deep commitment to helping Moab thrive.
